Research on the View of the Chinese Nation in Related Publications of Southwest Associated University:A Case Study of Contemporary Review
Modern times are an important period for the formation of the concept of the Chinese nation.Teachers and students in Yunnan universities have participated in the establishment of various publications to express their attitudes towards the current situation.The"Contemporary Comments",with National Southwest Associated University as its main platform,is quite representative due to its long existence and profound influence.There are many works in the publications that present people's concept on the Chinese nation,influenced by Han chauvinism,forming a national view based on Han centrism.In the issue of defining ethnic groups domestically and the issue of anti-Japanese War and international status abroad,more emphasis is placed on the"distinction between Chinese and foreign cultures",requiring the assimilation of various ethnic groups within the country with Han culture as the core to build a nation state.The purpose of this study is to present the views of scholars on the Chinese nation from the perspective of the historical perspective of the Chinese nation,with"Contemporary Comments"as the research object.
