Field Research on Practice and Cultural Identity of Southern Buddhism Belief of Burmese People in Ruili under B&R Initiative
Ruili is an important venue for cultural exchange and communication among Han,Burmese,Dai,and Shan ethnic groups.As an important mobile group on the China-Myanmar border,Burmese people have a long history of belief in Theravada Buddhism.This article discusses the vitality and faith of this identity group,as well as their faith practice and cultural identity.The belief practice of Myanmar people reflects the recognition of Chinese culture under the the Belt and Road Initiative.It is of great significance to promote the stability and development of border society,and also provides a vivid case for deepening understanding and responding to the B&R Initiative.
