Evidence-based Meta-analysis on Outcomes of Teacher Education under Concept of OBE
Taking a university in Wuhan as an example,50 regression analyses were conducted with courses as the research object,and meta-analysis and meta regression analysis were conducted as natural experiments.Research has found that implementing OBE reform has significantly improved the educational effectiveness of teachers,but its impact has significant heterogeneity.First,the academic atmosphere of the class has a significant positive impact on educational outcomes.Second,the implementation of OBE reform has a significant positive impact on the effectiveness of professional courses and platform courses,while the impact on the effectiveness of general courses and elective courses is not significant.Third,the implementation of OBE reform has a significant impact on students majoring in science,engineering,and management,but not on students majoring in grammar and art.Recommendations:Strengthen the determination to implement OBE reform and promote on a larger scale;In all courses,OBE reform can be selectively implemented while implementing OBE reform in grammar and art majors,efforts should be made to clarify the target points.
