Parents'Occupational Status,College Students'Academic Achievement and Employment Quality:An Empirical Study on"A University"of Yunnan Province
This study investigates the relationship of parents'occupational status,college students'academic achievement and employment quality.Research has found that the occupational status of mothers has a negative impact on the academic achievement of college students;The higher the academic achievement of college students,the better the quality of employment;When academic achievement is controlled,the father's occupational status has a positive impact on employment quality,while the mother's occupational status has no significant impact on employment quality.Research has shown that,on the one hand,the occupational status of fathers has a significant impact on the employment quality of their children;On the other hand,even without changing family background,university education remains an effective way to promote social mobility and achieve class crossing.
