The Impact of Red Revolutionary Cultural Heritage on the People's Thought of Ethnic Unity in Inner Mongolia
Cultural identity can be defined as the deepest level of identification,therefore poten-tially serving as a foundation and an essence of eth-nic unity.In the new era of China,it is imperative for the education sector to actively engage with red cultural resources in Inner Mongolia,effectively integrating them with the education of ethnic unity and progress,enhancing ethnic unity conscious-ness among people of different ethnic backgrounds,especially young people,promoting the elevation of the education surrounding ethnic unity and pro-gress,and laying a solid foundation to propel the realization of the Chinese Dream of national rejuve-nation.This article consists primarily of three parts.The first segment focuses on the formation and con-temporary relevance of red culture in Inner Mongo-lia.Having analyzed the historical evolution and contemporary significance of the red culture in In-ner Mongolia,this writing concludes that the red culture in Inner Mongolia,which was forged amidst revolutionary struggle,is an essential facet of China's red culture.It has inspired successive gen-erations across various ethnic groups within Inner Mongolia,instilling values of mutual support,col-lective endeavor,and unwavering commitment to-wards the construction of a beautiful Inner Mongo-lia and the realization of the great Chinese Dream.The second part delves into the contemporary value of red culture in Inner Mongolia.Findings show at the core of red culture lies ethnic unity en-capsulating principles such as love the country,love the Party,unity,friendliness,integrity,and endeavor.These values are manifestations of so-cialist core values with Chinese characteristics.In addition,in this section,this investigation con-cludes that red culture in Inner Mongolia is an ide-ological guarantee for ethnic unity and it serves as mental encouragement for fostering ethnic unity in Inner Mongolia,primarily focusing on five aspects:Firstly,the red culture's perceived embodiment of firm perseverance and pursuit of ideals;secondly,its apparent commitment to seeking truth through empirical evidence and pioneering innovation;thirdly,its perseverance and courage in pressing forward,fourthly,its advocacy for equality,unity,friendliness,and mutual support,and finally,its reliance on the masses and pursuit of victory.Fur-thermore,red culture in Inner Mongolia has dem-onstrated to be a valuable resource for education on ethnic unity and progress:They encompass effi-ciency in promoting ethnic unity and progress edu-cation,exert significant influence there,and have abundance and diversified forms.The third part tries to suggest innovative ap-proaches and conclusions regarding the integration of red culture into education on ethnic unity and progress in the new era.Historical records show the century-long struggle of the CPC has convinc-ingly demonstrated that only the CPC can achieve a great unity of the Chinese nation.In the new era,facing unprecedented changes unseen in a century,it is deemed imperative that,under the leadership of the Party,vigilance must be heightened in re-sponding to various words and actions that are not conducive to ethnic unity.Red culture,moreover,should be leveraged to continuously strengthen pa-triotism and education aimed at fostering ethnic u-nity.Key strategies include:1)Implementing practical educational activities on ethnic unity and progress under the leadership of the Party;2)maximizing the educational value of red tourism;and 3)enhancing awareness and understanding of ethnic unity among the youth.
