On Factors Influencing of the Utilization of Intangible Cultural Heritage by Universities in Ethnic Regions
Universities in ethnic regions have accumulated rich experience in utilizing intangible cultural heritage,and analyzing that its influencing factors are conducive to grasp the general law of integrating intangible cultural heritage content into the education and teaching system of universities.This paper constructed a model of influencing factors on the utilization of intangible cultural heritage by universities in ethnic regions through open interviews with 33 respondents from three groups:managers,teachers,and students in a newly established undergraduate university in ethnic regions.The grounded theory research method was used in the study.The model revealed that compliance with social value norms was a prerequisite,and rational and emotional factors together to become the driving force for heritage utilization,which required subject and professional education as carriers to play a role.The study also found that universities in ethnic regions had an implicit analytical framework of"country-local-individual"when making cultural choices;the utilization of heritage was achieved through the interactive transformation of organizational rationality and personal rationality;people can grasp the emotional motivation of teachers in the utilization of heritage from the perspective of cultural identity;the process of heritage utilization had the attribute of knowledge production.
