On the Three-Line Construction and Ethnic Integration——Taking the Liupanshui Area in Guizhou as an Example
Current academic research within the country on the Three-line Construction mainly focuses on national defense and related strategic areas,with relatively less discussion on ethnic integration.As a national strategy,the Three-line Construction has propelled Liupanshui's transformation into an industrialized modern city,becoming a symbolic event in China's industrialization process.It also serves as a vivid microcosm of ethnic integration and regional development,demonstrating the possibilities of multicultural coexistence and economic win-win scenarios.The Three-line Construction in Liupanshui has played a pivotal role in the construction of the Chinese national community.By reviewing the overview of the Three-line Construction in Liupanshui and analyzing empirical materials of ethnic interactions,exchanges,and integration during the construction period from political,economic,cultural,and social perspectives,it is further concluded that the Three-line Construction in Liupanshui has significant implications for enriching ethnic structures,promoting ethnic exchanges,and fostering ethnic unity.It represents a potential internal driving force for strengthening the consciousness of the national community in the new era.
