On the Context and Internal Mechanism of Spatial Generation of Historical and Cultural Blocks——Taking the Southern Song Dynasty Imperial Street in Hangzhou as an Example
Existing studies have attributed the problems or measures of cultural heritage inheritance and protection to other heterogeneous fields.Such external attribution will inevitably"black-box"the evolution mechanism of culture itself. The historical and cultural block is the important bearing place of traditional culture and the important cultural heritage of urban cultural tourism development.Based on the theoretical framework of actor network and space production, this paper discussed the formation of the Southern Song Dynasty imperial street space in Hangzhou. It has been found that due to the lack of a main line in the process of space generation and the misdistribution of benefits among actors, the actor network of the king street couldn't be stable. The production logic of the imperial street space reflects the mutual struggle of power, capital and culture.Among them, power plays a leading role in policy guidance and resource regulation, capital seeks profit maximization through investment and commercial activities, and culture is the core kinetic energy of royal street development and the object of contention and reshaping by capital and power.Social media has increased the visibility of Song culture in the digital space and attracted more tourists to visit and punch in.However, the imperial street in the physical space turned into a background for people to take photos and an instrumental existence to set off their self-image,and the translated culture of the Southern Song Dynasty gradually declined due to the loss of its subjectivity.Accordingly, the paper provided corresponding strategies for the protection and development of cultural heritage.
