On the Path of Identity Construction through Skill Practice from the Perspective of Cultural Genes——A Case Study of the Flower Picking Practice Community in Bajiaoping Village
The art of picking flowers is a necessary skill for traditional Miao women in the intermarriage circle of Bajiaoping Village.The cultural genes of picking flowers can be seen as the specific content of their picking flower practice.By using picking flowers as a medium,they form a community of picking flower practice and construct their own social gender identity in it.Using the decoding method of ethnic craft and cultural genes,gene extraction,establishment of gene relationship structure model,and compilation of genome map of clustered embroidery patterns were carried out on the text of the embroidery flower.There is a homologous relationship between the cultural genes of picking flowers and the specific homework content of picking flower practice.Miao women within the intermarriage circle of Bajiaoping Village practice the genes of embroidery culture under the influence of traditional Miao social culture,and construct a diverse social gender identity for themselves and embroidery inheritors through three paths:women's social work content,the need for the continuation of ethnic women's red culture,and the recognition of community members.
