Disciplinary Characteristics and Development Path of the Study of Intangible Cultural Heritage from the Perspective of Systematic Safeguarding
Since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China,the protection of China's intan-gible cultural heritage has entered a new stage of systematic protection.New problems to be solved and new goals to be achieved in the stage of systematic protection have given birth to the study of intangible cultural heritage.Based on the multifaceted concept of systematic conservation,the study of intangible cultural herit-age is of the characteristics such asdisciplinarydiversity,openness,and goal orientation.Along with the ad-vancement of systematic conservation work,in the construction and development of the study of intangible cultural heritage,we should adhere to the principle of protection as the main discipline,take fieldwork sci-ence as the paradigm,explore the means of cross-disciplinary innovation,take the cultivation of high-quality and versatile talents as the goal,build bridges for international cooperation and exchange,construct a discourse system of intangible cultural heritage with Chinese characteristics,and provide Chinese wisdom and experience for the safeguarding of intangible cultural heritage to all States Parties.
