The development of Yunnan drama literature started very early,and experienced several stages from the sprout to the rising tide,the lonely cry and the toddler imitation to the outbreak of passionate anger.There are collective creations by students,bitter screams of individuals,national passions spawned by the times,and also social cries in the tide of democracy.The composition of Yunnan drama literature contains local creation and performance of local playwrights and the"localized"creation and performance of outside playwrights in Yunnan.During that period of time,Yunnan's modern drama literary creation was staggering towards its initial formation,and,in the midst of cultivation,it is watching from afar for its belated maturity.
