"Metaphtonymy":Basic Rhetorical Logic of the Meaning Generation of Dance
"Metaphtonymy"is a compound rhetorical form that metaphorical vehicle uses metonymy as the basis to convey the meaning of metaphor,and it is the fundamental rhetorical logic for generating the mean-ing of dance.The metaphorical vehicle of dance can go cross domains to convey metaphorical meanings,due to the key step,that is the setting of the metonymy structure of the vehicle,because metonymy provides cog-nitive basis for establishing the similarity of metaphor.The metonymic way of dance expression mainly in-cludes iconic reference,indicative reference,and normative reference,each with its own characteristics and they are interwoven with each other,laying different forms of metaphor ground for metaphor expression.The metaphor of dance occurs on the paradigmatic,and the metaphor needs to be triggered by the presence com-ponents with the attribute of"punctum".It needs to be built based on the metonymic structure formed by the presence components of the syntagmatic.When the"punctum"component activates people's associations with other components on the paradig-matic axis,and the metonymic meanings conveyed by each present component accumulate to a certain extent,people's similarities and analogical associations will be mobilized,as a result,metaphorical meanings will arise accordingly.Therefore,the expressive activities and metaphors of dance are often accompanied by a fundamental metonymic structure,and the two work together to con-struct the meaning structure of dance from shallow level to deeper lever.
