Toward a New Configuration of the Discipline of Art Review:The Relationship between Art Review and Art Criticism
To explore the new relationship between art review and art criticism,it is necessary to review the process of separation and merging between the two,and thus to examine the new space and new challenges of the discipline of art review.The new structure of the emerging art review discipline requires reactivating the creative vitality of the traditional"poetry literature review"under the framework of the modern academic sys-tem,implementing the two-way operation mechanism of academic industry and industrial academics,and striving to realize the characteristics,such as unique art discovery,art history insight,realistic social care,evidence,unique personality,and textual expression.These will gradually lead to the construction of an au-tonomous knowledge system of the discipline of art review in China which blends of modernity and tradition,as well as academia and industry.
