An Exploration of Political Ecology and Traditional Chinese Opera Ecology in the Late Ming Period
Late Ming political ecology is an important ecological factor in the generation of traditional Chinese opera ecology. The political ecology of the late Ming Dynasty was mainly manifested in these five aspects:the blurring of the emperor's political philosophy and their political abilities, the gap between the emperor and the ministers, the continuous struggle between the officials, the profit-seeking and corruption of the en-tire power class, which put the government in a hostile position with the people and made the government powerless to the internal civil unrest and the external invasion. The influence of these political ecological fac-tors on the ecological generation of traditional Chinese opera were mainly positive in that it provided a rela-tively favorable environment for the late Ming opera, boosted the growth and quality of the creative team of the opera, and provided fresh materials for the works of the opera, while negatively,it impeded the dissemi-nation of the works of the opera to a certain extent.
