As the protection of intangible cultural heritage continues to deepen,the demand for the establish-ment of an independent discipline of intangible cultural heritage has become more and more urgent.The con-struction of intangible cultural heritage studies should not be self-referential,but should take the initiative to dialog with the related disciplines of tangible cultural heritage,and explore the feasibility and path of estab-lishing cultural heritage studies on the basis of complementary integration.As the intergenerational transmis-sion of human civilization,intangible cultural heritage and tangible heritage are symbiotic and complementary and inseparable,so that the establishment of cultural heritage studies covering both is necessary and feasi-ble.
