New Missions of Border Language Research in the New Era:A Case Study on the Jingpo Language
Border security is an indispensible part of national security,and the language situation in border areas is directly related to border security and development.Under the guiding principle of strengthening border area development and building a fortified national defense,we focus on the case of the Jingpo language in this paper,analyzing the attributes of a border language and discussing the theoretical and practical values of the study of border languages.Meanwhile,we emphasize the need to strengthen the study of border languages,and propose five tasks that must be done in the study of border languages in the new era.
