On the Inherent Deviation and Revival of Professional Graduate Education
This study focused on the alienation of professional graduate education to explore the shift to its essence,a much-concerned subject,using the sample analysis of double first-class universities in the western region of China.It stressed that the professional graduate education is differentiated from academic graduate education,and that its legitimacy and necessity need to be specified for high-quality development.Authors thus considered the strategies toward the shift that requires much work on the supervision and control of the entire cultivation process,faculty and staff,orientation and objective,scientifically reasonable and feasible evaluation programs,dynamic regulation of evaluation and authorization of professional degrees,and authorized degrees catalog categorization that coordinates the establishment of specific professional degree cultivation programs.
