Research on Zhang Taiyan's Thoughts of Sinology Education:An Investigation of the Collection of Speeches and Lectures
In the modern society shifting from the old to the new,Zhang Taiyan,adhering to the concept of"if the academy dies,a country dies",explored the modernization of the national academy from both the political and academic perspectives of realities and development.With a high degree of self-awareness,he devoted himself to the sinology education,strongly advocating the promotion of traditional Chinese culture and academics,especially emphasizing the use of language and writing,scripture,history and other national cultures to awaken the sense of national identity and the sense of salvation.For that purpose,Zhang Taiyan integrated modem teaching concepts into the traditional education path,focusing on the right way to the rule of national education,and attaching importance to teachers'independence and freedom of learning and qualities to cultivate young people in the worldview of the national education,therefore exerting great impacts on the transformation of modern China's learning style and lifestyle.This paper examined Zhang Taiyan's philosophy of national education,its characteristics and value of educational implications that will benefit the implementation of classical national education in the new era.
