A Study on the Alienation of Higher Education Evaluation from the Perspective of Modernity
Evaluation plays a significant role in the high-quality development of higher education.However,higher education evaluation is alienated in technical rationality and instrumental value due to the modernity thinking involved in the development of higher education,leading to the orientation deviating from the"ontology"of higher education and the commitment of educational value.The alienation is manifested in compliance with performance logic,gospel of efficiency,worship of computationalism,and enthusiasm for standardized thinking.This article explained the alienation from the aspects of transfer of academic freedom,disregard of process value,weakening of humanistic spirit,and elimination of advanced knowledge.To solve the problem of modernity in higher education evaluation,it proposed that the core is to realize the transformation from one to multiplicity,namely to a multi-subject evaluation pattern,to a multi-process evaluation plan,and ultimately to a multi-type evaluation model.
