Internal Quality Guarantee Mechanism of Educational Practice of Graduates of Education in the US:A Case Study of Stanford Teachers Education Program
The quality guarantee of educational practice of graduate students for teachers'education has become the core issue of concern in the context of teachers'education reform to be oriented to teaching practice.This work conducted a case study of the Stanford Teachers'Education Program(STEP)to explore the guaranteeing mechanism for quality educational practice.It found that institutions of teachers education in the US establish a complete internal guarantee system for quality graduate educational internships in the perspectives of quality requirements,process,platforms,faculty,outcomes,etc.that emphasizes policy-making external requirements and standards,the well-designed and structured internship courses,the well-established partnerships and tutorial teams construction,the theoretical integration and retrospective direction,and the strict internship evaluation.It thus provides good implications for Chinese institutions to strengthen the construction of the internal guarantee mechanism and the practice-oriented reform for quality educational graduate training.
