Digital Economy,Integration of Agriculture and Tourism and Rural Revitalization
The digital economy has empowered rural revitalization and ushered rural areas into a new era of digitalization and intelligence.In the construction of digital countryside,the integrated development of agriculture and tourism is promoted.This model takes tourism as the main agriculture as the supplement,uses tourism to promote the upgrading of agricultural industrial structure,extends the agricultural industry chain,and improves the added value of agricultural products,so as to realize the transformation of agriculture from a single structure to a diversified structure,and drives rural development with the increase of farmers'income.Based on China's inter-provincial panel data from 2011 to 2020,this paper discusses the mechanism and theoretical logic of digital economy promoting rural revitalization,and calculates the development level of three major variables,namely digital economy,the integration of agriculture and tourism,and rural revitalization,using the entropy value method.The fixed-effect model was used to explore the influence mechanism of digital economy in promoting rural revitalization,and the intermediary variables of rural and tourism integration were introduced.The intermediary model was used to verify that digital economy indirectly promoted rural revitalization through the rise of new industrial models of rural and tourism integration.The empirical regression results show that:1.Digital economy has a positive promoting effect on rural revitalization,and the effect on the western region is greater than that on the central and eastern regions.Through a series of robustness and endogeneity tests,the results are still significant;2.The analysis of indirect impact mechanism shows that the integration of agriculture and tourism plays a partial intermediary role in the indirect impact mechanism of digital economy to promote rural revitalization;3.Further analysis shows that the digital economy has a positive promoting effect on rural industry,ecology,governance and life,among which the rural industry has the most significant impact.
