Analysis of difference of "that" appearing in the attributive clause and the cleft sentence
That attributes in English attributive clause and the cleft sentence have been controversial issues in the field of linguistics. In this paper, through the structural sources, the anaphoric function and syntactic constraints of that in different structure to comparatively analyze and draw the conclusion, that is relation word in the attributive clause, the structural word in the cleft sentence.
