Exploration of Teaching Reform of Omics and Big Data Analysis Teaching under the Context of New Agriculture
With the rapid advancement of science and technology, bioinformatics and big data analysis have become essential tools in modern agronomy research. To meet the evolving demands of technological innovation and interdisciplinary integration,College of Agriculture,South China Agriculture University has undertaken a comprehensive reform of the graduate course Bioinformatics and Big Data Analysis. This reform emphasizes the course's distinctive features, updates its content, and incorporates advanced teaching methods such as flipped classrooms and online interactive sessions.Additionally,we have established a practical teaching website and a high-performance data analysis platform aimed at enhancing students'comprehensive skills, independent research capabilities, and critical thinking. This paper examines the course content, instructional methods, and assessment framework.By making the practical teaching website publicly accessible,we provide resources and a model for teaching reform in courses focused on multi-omics and interdisciplinary approaches within the new agricultural science context.
