大规模个性化定制能力提升的多元等效路径研究

大规模个性化定制是助力企业提升竞争优势并提高市场供需匹配度的重要方式,但大量企业难以有效选择和部署自身资源提升大规模个性化定制能力.因此,本文基于资源协奏理论,关注企业的认知资源、关系资源和技术资源,运用模糊集定性比较分析(fsQCA)方法对来自277 家中国企业的问卷数据进行分析,以组态视角系统探究多种资源条件的联动匹配效应,揭示大规模个性化定制能力背后的复杂因果机制.研究结果表明:单个前因条件并不能成为引致高水平大规模个性化定制能力出现的必要条件;面向产品与面向服务的大规模个性化定制能力具有不同的实现路径;面向产品的大规模个性化定制能力主要通过"关系—技术驱动型"路径实现,而面向服务的大规模个性化定制能力的实现路径包括"关系—技术驱动型"和"关系主导型".本文结果有助于发现大规模个性化定制背景下企业资源编排的规律,进而提出大规模个性化定制能力提升的多元等效路径,为企业提升大规模个性化定制能力提供方法指引.
Research on multiple equivalent paths for massive personalized customization capability enhancement
Massive personalized customization is crucial for firms to gain competitive advantages and improve supply and demand fitness,but several firms meet difficulties in effectively selecting and deploying resources to achieve massive personalized customization capability(MPCC).Based on resource orchestration theory,we focus on the cog-nitive,relational,and technological resources,applying fuzzy-set qualitative comparative analysis(fsQCA)method to examine the data collected from 277 Chinese firms,exploring the interaction and matching effect of multiple condi-tions from a configuration perspective,ultimately revealing the complex causal mechanisms associated with MPCC.The results show that single antecedent conditions are not the necessary conditions resulting in high MPCC;product-oriented and service-oriented MPCC have distinct realization paths;product-oriented MPCC is achieved by the"re-lationship-technology oriented"path,whereas service-oriented MPCC is realized by both the"relationship-technolo-gy oriented"path and the"relationship-driven"path.The study is beneficial in finding the patterns of resource or-chestration in the context of massive personalized customization and helps to identify multiple equivalent paths for enhancing MPCC,providing guidance for firms to enhance MPCC.
