Optimal network structure for industry-university-research collaborative innovation based on subject's forgetting behavior
Exploring the optimal network structure of knowledge dissemination in industry-university-research collab-orative innovation is of great significance in enhancing innovation efficiency. The forgetting mechanism in the process of knowledge dissemination is mostly regarded as exponential decay and mainly focuses on the knowledge dissemination among enterprises, and very few scholars took the subject's knowledge forgetting behavior into the study of optimal network structure of industry-university-research collaborative innovation. This paper adds the for-getting coefficient to the existing knowledge interaction model, and explores the impact of subjct's forgetting behav-ior on the performance of industry-university-research collaborative innovation and the optimal network structure of industry-university-research collaborative innovation under different conditions based on the simulation method. The results show that subject's forgetting behavior reduces the overall performance and weakens the knowledge differ-ences between individuals, and that the optimal knowledge network structure is different under different subject knowledge forgetting rates.Accordingly, suggestions are made to optimize the network structure to enhance collabora-tive innovation performance from the perspectives of average path length and agglomeration.
