Comparative application study of gray correlation analysis and fuzzy comprehensive evaluation in water quality assessment
In order to make the water quality evaluation results objective and reasonable, this paper takes the data of surface water quality in Nanchang City as the example. We select 7 local monitoring sections as the research object, add the entropy weight method, and use the gray correlation analysis and fuzzy comprehensive evaluation to evaluate the water quality condi-tion,and finally analyze and compare the results. It was found that the results obtained from the two analysis methods were similar. The water quality in Nanjishan is class Ⅱ,and the water quality in other sections is class Ⅰ,which is significantly dif-ferent from the results of single-factor evaluation. In the grey correlation analysis, the way of data standardization and the se-lection of water quality parameters have a greater impact on the evaluation results. The calculation of fuzzy comprehensive e-valuation is more complicated, but the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation matrix can intuitively reflect the exceeding pollutants, which is of practical significance. Both methods have their own characteristics, and researchers should take into consideration a variety of factors to choose the appropriate evaluation method according to the actual situation.
