Status quo,problems and countermeasures of underwater cultural heritage protection in Poyang Lake
Beneath the lake bed of Poyang Lake lies a wealth of cultural heritage resources,which are not only sig-nificant witnesses to the historical development of Jiangxi but also an indispensable part of China's historical and cultural heritage.Promoting the protection of the underwater cultural heritage in Poyang Lake helps to preserve and promote the excellent traditional culture of the Chinese nation and enhances the level of cultural relic protection and utilization in Jiangxi.This,in turn,fosters the construction of a culturally strong province and contributes to the high-quality economic and social development of Jiangxi.In recent years,the continuous decline in water levels and the worsening trend of drought in Poyang Lake have gradually revealed the treasures at the bottom of the lake,highlight-ing the problems of protecting underwater cultural heritage.We investigated the status quo and existing problems of the protection of the underwater cultural heritage in Poyang Lake.We propose measures such as establishing special-ized institutions,setting up special funds,cultivating professional talents,and enhancing science popularization to ensure that the relevant protection work is carried out effectively and solidly.
