Cooperating with the local economic construction,Ningbo Cultural Heritage Management Research Institute and Nanjing University conducted an archaeological excavation of some areas of Huangshan Site in 2020.Twenty remains such as pits and ash ditches were cleared,and more than 30 pieces of pottery,stone tools,porcelain and other artifacts and small specimens were unearthed,dating from the late Hemudu Culture to the Tang and Song dynasties.This site is one of the sites of Hemudu Culture and Liangzhu Culture in Ningbo area,which is close to the present coastline.It provides important data for the study of the distribution and development of Hemudu Culture and Liangzhu Culture in the coastal area and the evolution of the relationship between man and land.
