Bioarchaeological research is one of the most important and active disciplines in domestic and oversea fields in archaeological sciences. In recent years,Institute for Archaeological Sciences at Fudan University has organized the bioarchaeological platform and team, centering on human osteoarchaeology, zooarchaeology, archaeobotony, ancient DNA and isotope analysis. So far,the research team has focused on the regions of Yangtze Lower River Valley and Xinjiang and published a series of papers relevant to the above five branches.During the research practice, the team realized the importance and the necessity of standardized and normalized workflow throughout the five branches of bioarchaoelogical research. Therefore, our platform gathered the researchers in research team and prepared this workflow in order to lay the practical foundation in further promoting biaorchaeological research in China and fully obtaining the hidden information in archaeological biological remains.
