T According to current data, the North Mediterranean of Asia was the earliest region for the origin and oceanic exchange of jade, dating back 9,000 to 7,000 years ago.The jade artifacts on both sides of the Japan Sea were extremely similar during this period, indicating the existence of clear oceanic exchange. The geographically closed and high-latitude temperature difference of the Japan Sea made it possible for humans to communicate through sea ice and ocean currents. In addition to coastal navigation and island connections, the interaction between the East China Sea and the north may have existed directly between the lower reaches of the Yangtze River and the Japanese Islands around 7,000 years ago.The marine interaction of jade culture in the Mediterranean South mainly occurred between 4,000 and 2,000 years ago, with three jade centers around the South China Sea,the Pearl River Estuary in the mainland, the lower reaches of the Red River in the Indochina Peninsula, and Taiwan's Taitung region, intertwining and forming a"sea jade"trade network together.
