Bab el-Gasus is a starting point for the"cache"of ancient Egyptian tombs,in which the coffins of Amuniutnakht and Padiamun are now in the Egyptian Museum in Cairo and on display in Shanghai Museum's"Top of the Pyramids:Ancient Egyptian Civilization Exhibition".The previous research on the Bab el-Gasus cache mainly focus on the tomb itself and the systematic study of the coffins were not published yet.The aim of this paper is the deep interpretation by meticulously arranging these two set of representative wooden coffins from the 21st Dynasty(1069-945 BC),combining the complete translation and correction of the inscriptions and the analysation of the images.
