The exact traveling wave solution of Kaup-Kupershmidt equation is studied by using extended tanh function method,and different types of explicit traveling wave solu-tions of Kaup-Kupershmit equation are obtained,including solitary wave solution,expo-nential function solution and trigonometric periodic solution.The 3D and 2D graphs of the obtained solutions under specific parameter values are drawn by Maple software,and the types of corresponding solutions are obtained by analyzing the properties of the solu-tions.
