Numerical Simulation and Experimental Study on Insulating Glass with Built-in Louver
The addition of built-in louvers in ordinary insulating glass will affect the natural convective heat transfer between the two sides of the glass. In this paper, the thermal per-formance of the built-in louvered insulating glass system and the non-louvered insulating glass system under certain temperature difference conditions are studied by experimental measurement and numerical simulation, and the influence of the cavity spacing and louver inclination on the heat transfer coefficient of the insulating glass system is studied by chan-ging the cavity spacing and louver inclination. The results show that in order to make the louver have a better thermal insulation effect, the cavity spacing of the hollow glass with built-in louver should be greater than 40 mm.When the louver inclination angle is 90°,the total heat transfer coefficient U value is the lowest. The built-in louver can increase the total heat transfer coefficient U value of ordinary insulating glass by 6%-30% .
