Effect of the Height of the Saturated Liquid Level on Uranium Leaching During Heap Leaching
The saturation degree of the leaching solution in the surface heap leaching urani-um is closely related to the uranium leaching cycle and leaching rate.In order to study the effect of saturated liquid level height on uranium leaching rate in the reactor, two groups of uranium ore samples with different fractal dimensions were configured to carry out laboratory experimental studies on the effect of saturated liquid level height on leaching effect.By adjusting the spray rate and leachate flow rate, five different saturated liquid level heights were generated, and the uranium concentration in different time periods was measured and the leaching rate was calculated. The results show that:1)the uranium concentration is lower in the early stage of leaching, when the reaction continues,it in-creases obviously, and when it reaches the peak, the growth trend is no longer obvious, and then gradually stabilizes and begins to decrease;2)the ore sample with larger particle size fractal dimension value contains more small particles of ore,and its specific surface area increases, the reaction is more sufficient, and the leaching rate is larger;3)The leaching rate increases with the increase of the height of the infiltration line and shows a nonlinear change with time, and the leaching effect is best when the height of the infiltra-tion line is 100mm,but in actual production, the saturated liquid level height of the leac-hing solution must be reasonably adjusted according to the size of the ore pile.
