Genital dysfunction is the main cause of male infertility,and its pathogenic factors include inflammation,oxidative stress,excessive apoptosis,and changes in hormone levels.Research has shown that BDNF plays an important role in spermatogene-sis.In order to understand the effect of BDNF on spermatogenic dysfunction,this article reviews the role of BDNF in factors affecting spermatogenic dysfunction such as inflammation,hormones,oxidative stress,and cell apoptosis,providing a theoretical basis for BDNF as a potential drug for improving spermatogenic dysfunction.
