The diagnostic value of neutrophil/lymphocyte ratio for renal involvement in children with anaphylactoid purpura
Aim To explore the diagnostic value of neutrophil/lymphocyte ratio(NLR)in renal involvement in children with anaphylactoid purpura(AP).Methods A total of 103 AP children were selected as AP group and divided into an involved group(n=41)and an uninvolved group(n=62)according to renal involvement, and 74 healthy people were selected as control group. The general data and NLR of each group were compared.ROC was used to evaluate the diagnostic value of NLR for renal in-volvement in children with AP,and multivariate Logistic regression was used to analyze the risk factors affecting renal involvement in children with AP.Results Peripheral blood neutrophils and NLR in AP group were higher than those in control group, and lym-phocytes were lower than those in control group.Peripheral blood neutrophils and NLR in involved group were significantly higher than those in non-involved group, and lymphocytes were lower than those in non-involved group(P<0.05).Cystatin C,neutrophils,lym-phocytes and NLR were risk factors for renal involvement in children with AP(P<0.05).Neutrophils,lymphocytes and NLR have good predictive efficacy for renal involvement in children with AP.Conclusion NLR is a risk factor for renal involvement in chil-dren with acute pancreatitis, and NLR can be used as an effective indicator to predict renal involvement in AP children.
