Analysis of the therapeutic effect of combined therapy of triamcinolone acetonide and dot ma-trix CO2 laser on vulvar sclerotic lichen
Aim To explore the clinical efficacy of combined therapy of triamcinolone acetonide and dot matrix CO2 laser on the treatment of vulvar lichen sclerosus(VLS).Methods 120 VLS patients were randomly divided into drug group(triamcinolo-ne acetonide),laser group(dot matrix CO2 laser),and combination group(triamcinolone acetonide combined with dot matrix CO2 la-ser).The clinical efficacy, clinical symptoms and signs, and quality of life of each group were compared, and the occurrence of ad-verse reactions was observed. Results The total clinical effective rate of the laser group and the combination group was higher than that of the drug group, and the combination group was higher than that of the laser group(P<0.05).The total incidence of ad-verse reactions in the laser group and combination group was lower than that in the drug group(P<0.05).Compared with the situa-tions before treatment, itching, sexual pain, skin elasticity, skin color, lesion range, dermatology life quality index, and emale sexual distress scale-revised scores were decreased in all groups after treatment, and the drug group, laser group, and combination group were decreased sequentially(P<0.05).Conclusion The combination of triamcinolone acetonide and dot matrix CO2 laser therapy for VLS can effectively improve clinical symptoms and signs, improve quality of life, and have high safety.
