The correlation between 25-hydroxyvitamin D,kisspeptin and serum P1NP and N-MID OC in children with central precocious puberty
Aim To analyze the level of 25-hydroxyvitamin D3(25-(OH)D3)and the expression of neuropeptide Kisspeptin in children with central precocious puberty(CPP)and its correlation with serum procollagen type Ⅰ n-terminal pro peptide(P1NP)and n-mido osteocalcin(N-MID Osteocalcin,N-MID OC).Methods A total of 86 cases of CPP children were selected as CPP group, and at the same time,50 cases of simple early breast development(PT)and 50 cases of healthy children with normal physical examina-tion were selected as the PT group and the healthy group, respectively. The serum 25-(OH)D3,Kisspeptin and P1NP,and N-MID OC levels in each group were compared, and the correlations between serum 25-(OH)D3,Kisspeptin and P1NP,N-MID OC were analyzed by Pearson correlation. The scatter plots were drawn. Results The levels of 25-(OH)D3 in the CPP group were lower than those in the PT group and the health group, and the levels of 25-(OH)D3 in the PT group were lower than those in the health group(P<0.05).The levels of Kisspeptin,P1NP and N-MID OC in the CPP group were higher than those in the PT group and the health group, and the levels of Kisspeptin,P1NP and N-MID OC in the PT group were higher than those in the health group(P<0.05).25-(OH)D3 was negatively correlated with serum P1NP and N-MID OC(r=-0.259,-0.323,P<0.05).Kisspeptin was positively correlated with serum P1NP and N-MID OC(r=0.426,0.610,P<0.05).Conclusion Children with CPP show low levels of 25-(OH)D3 and high levels of Kisspeptin, and the levels of 25-(OH)D3 and Kisspeptin in children with CPP have a significant correlation with bone me-tabolism markers P1NP and N-MID OC,which can be used as reference indicators to evaluate bone metabolism in children with CPP.
