Effect of different doses of cytarabine combined with antibiotics on serum MCP-1 and CCR-2 levels in children with leukemia
Aim To investigate the effect of cytarabine combined with antibiotics on serum monocyte chemoattractant protein-1(MCP-1)and CC chemokine receptor-2(CCR-2)levels in children with acute myeloid leukemia. Methods 96 chil-dren with acute myeloid leukemia were selected and divided into observation group(n=48)and control group(n=48)according to the treatment scheme, that the observation group was given high-dose cytarabine combined with deoxyrubicin, while the control group was given conventional dose of cytarabine combined with deoxyrubicin. The therapeutic efficacy and adverse reactions of the two groups were observed, the serum MCP-1 was detected by ELISA,and the expression of CCR-2 on monocytes was detected by flow cy-tometry cell analysis. Results The CR rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).The incidence of pathogenic bacteria infection in the observation group was significantly lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in adverse reactions(P>0.05).The serum MCP-1 and CCR-2 levels in the observation group af-ter treatment were significantly lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion The high-dose cytarabine combined with doxorubicin has a significant therapeutic effect on children with acute myeloid leukemia, which could significantly reduce the ser-um levels of MCP-1 and CCR-2.
