Glioma is the most common primary intracranial malignant tumor with high malignant degree,poor therapeutic effect,high disability rate and high recurrence rate.As a tumor suppressor gene,CDKN2A plays an important role in the develop-ment of various tumors.Through genetic and epigenetic analysis of gliomas,it was found that CDKN2A exerted an important influence on gene changes and signaling pathway changes in gliomas.CDKN2A is closely related to the pathogenesis,molecular diagnosis,ma-lignancy degree and prognosis of glioma.Therefore,it is particularly important to explore the correlation between CDKN2A and glio-ma.This article reviews the correlation between CDKN2A and glioma development.
