Metabolic pathways of innate lymphoid cells and regulation of their own plasticity
Innate lymphoid cells(ILCs)are a family of lymphocytes that reside mainly in tissues, and are important cellular components involved in the regulation of tissue homeostasis and the early anti-inflammatory effects of the body. The biological function of ILCs is closely related to cell metabolism.Cell metabolism can help ILCs to grow and reproduce, respond to the external environ-ment,and jointly resist infection with adaptive immunity related to Th subgroup.Studies have shown that cell metabolism plays an important role in the activation, proliferation, cytokine release and plasticity of ILCs.This article reviews the understanding of ILCs'metabolism and the effects of metabolic activities on the plasticity of ILCs.
