Aim To investigate the suicidal behaviors in patients with bipolar disorder(BD)and analyze the influencing factors.Methods A total of 112 patients with BD were investigated.Based on their suicidal behaviors,they were divided into suicidal behavior group and non-suicidal behavior group.Clinical data of the two groups were compared,and Logistic regression a-nalysis was conducted to identify the influencing factors of suicidal behaviors in patients with BD.Results Among the 112 pa-tients with BD,52(46.43％)patients had suicidal behaviors,including 31(27.68％)patients with suicidal ideation and 21(18.75％)patients with suicidal attempt.The proportions of female patients,patients with bipolar type Ⅱ,initial symptom of de-pression and a family history of mental disorders in the suicidal behavior group were significantly higher than those in the non-suicidal behavior group(P＜0.05).Logistic regression analysis found that female gender,bipolar type Ⅱ,frequency of depressive episodes,initial symptom of depression and a family history of mental disorders were risk factors for suicidal behaviors in patients with BD(P＜0.05).Conclusion Patients with BD have a higher probability of suicidal behaviors.Female gender,bipolar type Ⅱ,fre-quency of depressive episodes,initial symptom of depression and a family history of mental disorders are main risk factors.
