Changes of serum LTB4,NLCR and CRP/PA ratio, and their relationship with the severity of lung injury in patients with pneumonia induced by bacterial infection
Aim To explore the changes of serum leukotriene B4(LTB4),neutrophil/lymphocyte count ratio(NLCR)and C-reactive protein/prealbumin(CRP/PA)ratio,and their relationship with the severity of lung injury in patients with pneumonia induced by bacterial infection(bacterial pneumonia). Methods A retrospective collection was performed based on the clinical data of 172 patients with bacterial pneumonia(observation group)and 140 healthy controls(control group).According to the severity of lung injury, patients were divided into mild-moderate group and severe group. The levels of LTB4,NLCR and CRP/PA ratio in differ-ent groups were compared, and the evaluation value of combination of these parameters in the detection of the severity of lung injury was analyzed. Results Compared with control group, levels of LTB4,NLCR and CRP/PA ratio were higher than those in observation group(P<0.05).Compared with mild-moderate group, levels of LTB4,NLCR and CRP/PA ratio were higher than those in severe group(P<0.05).The results of ROC curves analysis showed that AUC of LTB4,NLCR and CRP/PA ratio for evaluating the severity of lung injury were 0.793,0.717,and 0.758,respectively.AUC of combined detection was 0.933,greater than that of single evaula-tion(P<0.05).Conclusion The expressions of LTB4,NLCR and CRP/PA ratio are up-regulated in patients with bacterial pneumo-nia.LTB4,NLCR and CRP/PA ratio are all related to the severity of lung injury, and combined detection has higher evaluation value.
