Analysis of rehabilitation efficacy of high-energy laser combined with Thera-Band progressive training for patients with lower back pain
Aim To explore the therapeutic effect of high-energy laser combined with Thera-Band progressive training on pa-tients with lower back pain(LBP).Methods 120 LBP patients were selected and randomly divided into a control group(basic treatment+rehabilitation training)and an observation group(basic treatment+rehabilitation training+high-energy laser combined with Thera-Band progressive training). The efficacy, degree of pain, lumbar recovery, lumbar range of motion, and surface electromyo-graphic signal performance between the two groups were compared. Results After treatment, there was no difference in the excel-lent and good efficacy rate between the observation group and the control group(P>0.05).After 3 weeks of treatment, the pain(VAS)score and lumbar functional impairment(ODI)score of the observation group were lower than those of the control group, while the Japanese orthopedic association's score(JOA)was higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).After 6 weeks of treatment, the ODI index of the observation group was lower than that of the control group, the JOA score was higher than that of the control group, and the range of motion, such as lumbar flexion in the observation group, was larger than that of the control group. The sur-face electromyographic signals of the affected side of the erector spinae and multifidus muscles in both groups were lower than those of the control group, while the surface electromyographic signals of the affected side and the opposite side in the observation group were higher than those of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion High-energy laser combined with Thera-Band progressive training has a good rehabilitation effect on LBP,which can effectively reduce pain and improve lumbar and back functions.
