The relationship between serum CFH,VASH-1 and disease condition, disease outcome in pa-tients with acute cerebral infarction
Aim To explore the expression levels of serum complement factor H(CFH)and angiogenic inhibitory protein-1(VASH-1)in patients with acute cerebral infarction and their correlation with the disease condition and disease outcome. Methods A total of 96 patients with acute cerebral infarction were selected as the study group, and divided into mild group, moderate group and severe group according to national institute of health stroke scale(NIHSS)score.According to the disease outcome, they were divid-ed into worsening group and outcome group.Another 80 healthy subjects in the same period were selected as the control group.Ser-um CFH and VASH-1 levels of all included subjects were detected and compared among groups.ROC was used to evaluate the diag-nostic value of serum CFH and VASH-1 on the outcome of the disease in patients with acute cerebral infarction. The factors affecting the outcome of the disease in patients with acute cerebral infarction were explored by Logistic regression. Results Serum CFH levels in the study group<control group, severe group<moderate group<mild group, deterioration group<outcome group;serum VASH-1 levels in the study group>control group, severe group>moderate group>mild group, deterioration group>outcome group(P<0.05).The AUC of serum CFH,serum VASH-1 and combined indicators in evaluating the outcome of acute cerebral infarction were 0.830,0.866,and 0.915.Low serum CFH,high serum VASH-1 and high NHISS score were risk factors affecting the outcome of acute cer-ebral infarction patients(P<0.05).Conclusion Serum CFH and VASH-1 levels were closely related to the disease condition and disease outcome in patients with acute cerebral infarction, which are expected to be used as reliable biomarkers to evaluate the dis-ease outcome in patients with acute cerebral infarction.
