Clinical efficacy of Yueju pill formula in the treatment of qi-water stagnation type chronic heart failure complicated with depression
Aim To investigate the clinical efficacy of Yueju pill formula in the treatment of qi-water stagnation type chronic heart failure complicated with depression.Methods 76 patients with qi-water stagnation type chronic heart failure complicated with depression were selected and randomly divided into an observation group(Yueju pill formula+conventional treatment)and a con-trol group(conventional treatment).The differences in indicators such as heart function,traditional Chinese medicine syndrome score,depression score,quality of life,and serum Ghrelin between two groups before and after treatment were compared.Results Compared with the paramters before treatment,after treatment,the left ventricular ejection fraction,6-minute walk distance,and Ghre-lin were increased in both groups(P＜0.05),while the left ventricular end-diastolic diameter,left ventricular end-diastolic volume,total score of traditional Chinese medicine symptoms,self-rating depression scale score,Minnesota living with heart failure questionaire score,N-terminal B-type brain natriuretic peptide precursor,and water-soluble growth stimulation expressed gene 2 levels were de-creased(P＜0.05),and the observation group was more significant than the control group(P＜0.05).Conclusion The Yueju pill formula has a good effect on treating qi-water stagnation type chronic heart failure complicated with depression,and can significant-ly improve the clinical symptoms and heart function of patients.
