Analysis of therapeutic effects of clonidine combined with vitamin D3 in the treatment of chil-dren with tic disorder and their influence on neuroimmune function
Aim To study the clinical effects of clonidine combined with vitamin D3 in the treatment of tic disorders and their effects on neuroimmune function in children. Methods A total of 70 children with tic disorders were randomly divided into the control group(clonidine treatment)and the observation group(clonidine combined with vitamin D3 treatment). The therapeutic effects,Yale global tourette scale(YGTSS)score and American spinal injury association(ASIA)score before and after treatment, and the related indicators of neurotransmitters,as well as the expression levels of T lymphocytes and their subsets in peripheral blood before and after treatment, were compared between the two groups. Results The total effective rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).Compared with the scores before treatment, the YGTSS scores of both groups de-creased and the ASIA scores increased after treatment, and the changes in the observation group were more significant than those in the control group(P<0.05).Compared with the levels before treatment, the levels of dopamine(DA),5-hydroxytryptamine(5-HT),norepinephrine(NE),homovanillic acid(HVA),glutamic acid(Glu),aspartic acid(Asp)in peripheral blood of both groups de-creased after treatment, and the levels of 5-HT,HVA,and Glu,Asp in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, while DA and NE were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).Compared with the situations before treatment, the total T lymphocytes,Th lymphocytes, and Th/Ts in both groups increased after treatment, while Ts lymphocytes decreased, and the changes in the observation group were more significant than those in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion When used to treat children with tic disorders, clonidine combined with vitamin D3 can significantly improve neuroimmune function and therapeutic effects, which is worthy of promotion and application.
