Relationship between blood lipid, coagulation function, inflammatory factors and early neu-rological deterioration in patients with cerebral infarction
Aim To explore the relationship between blood lipid, coagulation function, inflammatory factors and early neu-rological deterioration(END)in patients with cerebral infarction. Methods A total of 97 patients with cerebral infarction who underwent thrombolysis were enrolled.According to presence or absence of END,they were divided into END group(n=21)and non-END group(n=76).The blood lipid indexes[total cholesterol(TC),triglyceride(TG),high-density lipoprotein cholesterol(HDLC),low-density lipoprotein cholesterol(LDLC)],coagulation function indexes[activated partial thromboplastin time(APTT),prothrombin time(PT),fibrinogen(FIB),D-dimer(D-D)]and inflammatory factors[procalcitonin(PCT),C-reactive protein(CRP)]were compared between the two groups, and the relationship between the above indexes and END was analyzed. Results The proportion of patients with diabetes mellitus in END group was higher than that in non-END group, while scores of NIHSS andΔNIHSS at admission were higher than those in non-END group(P<0.05).The levels of TC,TG,LDLC,FIB,D-D,PCT and CRP in END group were higher than those in non-END group, while HDLC was lower than that in non-END group(P<0.05).Mult-ivariate Logistic regression analysis showed that TC,TG,HDLC,LDLC,FIB,D-D,PCT and CRP were influencing factors of END in patients with cerebral infarction(P<0.05).ROC curves analysis showed that TC,TG,HDLC,LDLC,FIB,D-D,PCT and CRP all had certain predictive efficiency for END(P<0.05),and predictive value of combined detection was the greatest(P<0.05).Conclusion The blood lipid, coagulation function and inflammatory factors are closely related with END in patients with cerebral in-farction.Monitoring the above indexes is of important clinical significance for the prevention of END.
