Aim To explore the influences of family function, social function and demographic characteristics on sleep quali-ty in adolescent patients with anxiety disorders. Methods A total of 284 adolescent patients with anxiety disorders were selected as the subjects. The family function scale, social support rating scale,Pittsburgh sleep quality index(PSQI)scale and polysomnog-raphy were used to evaluate their family function, social support and sleep quality. The effects of family function, social function and demographic characteristics on sleep quality were analyzed. Results The PSQI,family function and social support scores of 284 adolescent anxiety patients were(14.28±2.36),(119.75±21.32)and(32.41±4.87),respectively.The total sleep duration was(322.2±60.52)min,the sleep efficiency was(66.84%±7.62%),and the REM latency was(83.42±12.36)min.Whether or not as the only children, main caregivers, parents'marital status and family history of sleep disorders statistically significantly influ-enced the PSQI of adolescent anxiety patients(P<0.05).Family function and social support were positively correlated with PSQI,and family function was positively correlated with social support(P<0.01).Conclusion The sleep quality of adolescent patients with anxiety disorder is not optimistic.Family function and social support are closely related to sleep quality.Improving the level of family function and social support is helpful to improve the sleep quality of adolescent patients with anxiety disorder.
