Experimental Study on Removal of Calcium and Magnesium from Waste water of a Jiangxiang Baijiu Distillery
The effect of removing calcium and magnesium from the effluent of the anaerobic unit of the wastewater treatment station of a Jiangxiang Baijiu distillery by methods of NaOH-Na2CO3,NaOH and Na2CO3 were compared, and the optimal process parameters were discussed. The results showed that NaOH-Na2CO3 was the best method to remove calcium and magnesium. When the mixing ratio of NaOH and Na2CO3 was 10 g/L and 20 g/L,and the pH value was 8.5 or 9.0,the removal rate of calcium and magnesium was above 50%;when the pH value was 9.0,the removal rate could reach above 65%.Adding garnet sand/calcite had little influence on the experimental results.
